Probably one of the most loved Lewesian yoga teachers, we're delighted to include Ali on our teacher team.

Ali began her study of Yoga in 1993 in London and went on to train at the Iyengar Institue in Maida Vale under Sallie Sullivan and Stephen Richardson.  She initially qualified as an Introductory teacher with the IYA(UK) in 2007 and is now an Intermediate Junior Level 3 teacher.

Maintaining her personal practise and continuing to study through attendance at conventions and workshops with senior teachers is hugely important to Ali. She’s even studied with Geeta Iyengar in India, the most senior Iyengar yoga teacher in the world.

Ali has taught in Lewes for a number of years now, specialising in adults of all ages, abilities and levels of experience - Ali Hahlo. She also welcomes teenagers in her general classes, when accompanied by an adult. She is enthusiastic and straightforward in her style of teaching, believing firmly in Yoga for All.  The practise of yoga postures and breathing can bring tremendous benefits to everyone, old and young. Men and women, supple and stiff.

Ali will be hosting a general Iyengar class 9.30am-11am on Thursday mornings - come and meet this special lady for yourselves.
